A Christian admonition.

Jesus‘ in John 8:7, viz. “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”

None of us is without sin, according to the Bible, but a lot of people are casting heavy verbal stones these days. Ask why. What’s in it for them? Ask if they are telling the truth. Look up background information about them and what they say.

Jesus did not favor hatred, greed, or pride. Are these traits motivating the stone throwers?

Many people make predictions about the future, and some of these are frightful. How does this profit them? When I was young, nuclear war was imminent; in particular where I lived, total destruction was moments away. We teenagers lived under this threat without hope for our futures, as if we were already dead. Yet here we are, decades later. Even with danger always around us, we need to throw, not stones, but hope out to the world.
